The CP Digital company was founded in 2000. Due to intensive work alongside with a clear and focused business strategy, currently CP Digital is one of the Russian DVD distribution market leaders. CP Digital exclusively features the DVD releases of all Central Partnership productions and cooperates with the Paradise movie company as well as leading national TV channels, such as RTR, NTV and STS. The company catalogue includes more that 1000 feature, documentary, animation, musical and serial titles. The company released on DVD such nationally and internationally acclaimed titles as “The Piranha Hunt”, “Shadow Boxing”, “Apocalypse”, “The Boomer”, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, “The Wolfhound”, “Alexander”, “The Heat”, “The Gang”, “The Master and Margareth”. The release plans for the next year include more than 200 feature films and serials. The company production base consists of proprietary authoring and sound recording workstations, equipment for the DVD menu creation as well as voicing over, subtitling and design. The company owns its own DISK PRO licensed disk copying facilities. All this allows the company to release up to 30 projects a month. The extensive customer base includes more than 750 partners ( 250 of them – in Moscow and 500 – in the Russian regions). All major metropolitan areas of the country feature their own CP Digital dealerships. The company has an established and well-functioning distribution chain extending from the production through inventories to the end consumers. It results in proper planning of declared releases and reliable stock inventories in all title positions. The company controls pricing, shelf exposure and POS positioning of its titles. All CP Digital corporate customers adopted its recommended pricing policies. All the parameters are controlled and monitored by company merchandisers. Awards In 2003-2005 the company three times in a row won the Blockbuster award in the Best Distributor of the Year nomination. Beyond that, the company won the Blockbuster awards in the following nominations The 2006 Hit of the Year four Best-Selling DVD titles of 2005 three Best-Selling European and Russian DVD Feature Films and Serials of 2003 The Best-Selling European DVD title of 2002. In 2002 the company was also awarded an honorary diploma of the DVD News magazine for the Best Selling Title CP Digital pays a special attention to the disk quality (picture, multi-channel sound, menus, voiceover, subtitles, packaging, cover design) and got multiple national awards for that.
